Lentils and Cabbage
Ingredients:
1/2 head green cabbage
2 cups lentils
Garlic powder
Canola oil
Salt
Directions:
Boil the lentils as per directions on the package.
Chop up and boil the cabbage until soft.
Fry small batches of lentils in oil in a cast iron pan. Fry until they begin to crisp up and absorb the oil, then season with garlic powder and salt.
Add in the cabbage and fry until the flavors mingle.
