Chinese Dumplings
Ingredients:
1 head napa cabbage
1 roll gimmelean sausage
1 bunch green onions
1T sugar
3T soysauce
Dough: flour + cold water
Directions:
Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl, mixing thoroughly using hands and spoon.
Form the dough by adding cold water slowly to flour. The dough should be workable, but not too sticky.
Form the dumplings by taking a piece of the dough, adding a spoonful of filling and pleating the sides until the dumpling is sealed.
Boil the dumplings (but don’t overcrowd) in hot water until they are puffy and float to the top of the pot.
Serve with a dipping sauce of 1 part soy sauce, 1 part white vinegar and chopped garlic.
